Amy Kuo Somchanhmavong is Associate Director of the David M. Einhorn Center for Community Engagement. She has initiated, directed, and coordinated co-curricular and curricular-based community-engaged learning programs such as the Public Service Scholars Program, Public Achievement, and the Person-Centered Care Advocacy Team (PCAT). As a practitioner of the field, Amy has worked in community engagement for 15+ years, serving as a bridge builder for faculty and staff members with community-based organizations as well as nonprofit, nongovernmental, and grassroots projects.
