Center for Teaching Innovation
Founded in 2017, the Center for Teaching Innovation (CTI) supports Cornell University teaching community members, from teaching assistants and postdoctoral fellows, to lecturers, to professors, with a full complement of individualized services, programs, institutes, and campus-wide initiatives.
Generative AI Pilots
The Center for Teaching Innovation is collaborating with campus partners at Cornell to pilot several GenAI bots for instructor use in the classroom. One of the goals of these pilots is to help determine whether or not – and the extent to which – these models can benefit student learning.

Accepting Responsibility is an undergraduate-focused educational program that promotes academic integrity through learning, reflection, and personal accountability. Launched as a pilot in Spring 2024 and expanded campus-wide in Fall 2026, the program supports Cornell's commitment to honesty, fairness, and respect for the intellectual work of students, faculty, and instructional staff in all academic endeavors.
